The NP11 is a 61-key model that takes Piaggero's signature concept of Slim, Light, and Compact to a new level. It features high-quality voices and expresses piano sound more realistic than ever before. The NP11 offers a wide variety of use with simple, user-friendly functions. Distinguished craftsmanship is emphasized by the strip of red felt at the keyboard's back end. AWM, or Advanced Wave Memory, Stereo sampling is a sampling system creating superb wave data that mirrors the sound and expression of the original instrument by using advanced digital technologies. It creates a unique, rich sound by using multiple waveforms.
The NP 11 uses a highly efficient stereo amplifier, generating a solid sound in this slim, light and compact digital piano. With 2.5 watts per channel, the NP11 is ready to go whenever you are. The NP11 comes with a function that turns off the power automatically if the keyboard has not been used for a set amount of time (30 minutes) in order to avoid using power unnecessarily.

The sounds it's pretty cool. I can play Doogie Howser with it

Everything what they said about this "piano" it's true. I wanted a keyboard for my kids to learn to play or at least they have a chance to try an instrument. But I didn't want the typical cassio keyboard with thousand of sounds, I knew this will distract my kids. They would use it as a toy rather than instrument.
I did my youtube research and this is the product that I ended buying. It has a few sound types, piano, strings, organ, electric piano. The sounds it's pretty cool. I can play Doogie Howser with it, or "Jump" by Van Halen. This is a great instrument to have it in your house.
SImple, no frills keyboard

I purchased this for work with my Sweet Adelines Womens' barbershop chorus. I am one of the section leaders and I needed a keyboard to help us learn our songs. It is exactly what I needed--portable, no fancy bells and whistles, just a keyboard to give us the intervals to sing our particular part. I also wanted to get into arranging songs in barbershop style chord structures. I took this to my class, and it gave me a nice, clean sound to help me figure out chords needed.
I am very happy with this simple keyboard--I have exactly what I need to help my chorus learn our music faster and with more accuracy. I have also discovered it awakened my desire to play more than just using the hunt and peck method. The keys respond nicely, and are only slightly smaller than full size. I was worried that maybe I would need more than 61 keys, but even if I become a more proficient piano player, this range is perfectly adequate for my needs. I was happy to see it has a metronome, that is a valuable feature. Bottom line is that the simplicity of it, the light weight, the 61 key range, the responsiveness of the keys, the nice sound and the great price make this a very good deal for someone who just needs to be able to learn vocal music and chord structure.

When I started to test it out the keys felt good as u press them
ByAmazon Customer
I needed a piano as Im in the process of taking class. When I picked up this product I was really surprised how much longer it looked in real life than the picture shown, especially knowing that it was a 64 key. When I started to test it out the keys felt good as u press them, they are indeed weighted and it doesn't feel like a cheap keyboard as it is.However, most people complain about the volume problem and it indeed is a bit low. When you turn the volume down it's going to be difficult to hear the last b key you would have to turn it up. The different sounds are good with layering capabilities. I was a bit worried but and truly glad about the purchase. This keyboard is indeed mostly for beginners who is in need of a good quality genuine keyboard.
Key respond like a real piano
Bykatpink
More than I expected, finger touch is like a real piano. I can control the emphasis of a song using the keys ( not like a digital piano's volume button) the force I put onto the keys brings the emotion to a song.
Yamaha Piaggero Great for the Price

This is a great practice piano. I already know how to play, so I didn't want a "learn to play" kid's keyboard. It is light and compact and fits perfectly into a small space. I also bought the Yamaha LC3 keyboard stand to give it some stability. The sound is great. Much better than I expected for the price.
