These are absolutely adorable and such a neat educational project for my twin girls. I have 4 year old twins and they enjoyed every minute of watching the eggs hatch. All our friends and relatives they have come in contact with over the last 3 days they have told them about the hatching eggs. We have only been soaking our eggs for 3 days so this is the progress so far (I will post pics.)

I've enjoyed this experiment as it has taught my girls a lot. They have asked so many questions about each of the animals. Each day was such a joy to see their faces lite up when they seen the progress of each egg.

I was given the opportunity to get this set for free for my honest and unbiased opinion.

These hatching Easter eggs make for such a fun experience for kids. In the set of four you get one of each animal, and the real fun is in not knowing which animal is in which egg. My son had a blast putting his egg in water, waiting for it to hatch and trying to guess which animal it would be before it had hatched. Our rabbit and duck hatched rather quickly, it took no more than a day or two for their shells to fall apart. Our frog is moving a little bit slower, he's been in the water for a couple days and is stubbornly not wanting to hatch quite as quickly.

My son has thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of waiting for them to hatch and grow, he's really loving them. The only downside to these guys is that the paint flakes off of the animals so very easily. They've all lost eyeballs or spots of paint on noses, bills, feet, etc. It almost makes them a little creepy looking to me. However, my son couldn't care less, he still thinks they're awesome and doesn't stop talking about how cute they are. So while I'm bummed at the chipping paint, as long as my kid doesn't care it's fine by me! I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I've included a picture of our hatched rabbit and duck. You can see where the color is peeling off on the both of them, the rabbit's eye is black only because I attempted to color it in with a sharpie so it didn't look so strange :) .

Save these little guys till Easter for gifts for my kiddos and wow they where the best grow in water creatures I've ever seen. So much detail even after they expanded big enough to crack their eggs. Wonder concept so much for the kids!

Hatching Easter eggs are definitely something I had never heard of before. My 6 year old daughter squealed with excitement when I told her what came in for her. We immediately immersed the first egg in water as the instructions stated. It took our first egg about a day or so to start hatching. On the 2nd day it hatched out of its shell. My daughter was so eager to play with it that she did not want to wait for it to grow like it should. I managed to bribe her with something to make her keep it in the water for it to grow. The bunny was the first to hatch and after was the frog, duck, and chick. This set was so much fun to watch and it was a learning experience for my daughter. They are so cute!!
