Play-Doh Town Firehouse

Product Description

Hey, chief -- there's a fire in Play-Doh Town! Luckily the Firehouse is right nearby, and this can-do firefighter is ready to squish out the Play-Doh flames. Create an emergency scene by stacking the Play-Doh cans and putting the roof on top. Use the fire stamper to add colorful flames, and squeeze a silly escape pole. The half-molds shape other rescue essentials, like a radio or an alarm bell. Get the firefighter ready by creating a wild hairstyle and putting on his hat. Use the stamps on his feet to make his radio and a pretend treat for his pup. Help him battle the flames with the water cannon extruder, make a hose with the fire hydrant, or chop the flames out with the axe, which also fits in the firefighter's hand. And make sure to take the dog for a walk, or it might have its own emergency! The garage can also fit the Fire Truck (sold separately) for even more rescue missions. Playing the hero (or even the mischief-maker) can be a new adventure every time in Play-Doh Town!

Not as much fun as it seems on TV
By Nicole on

My kids saw this toy on a commercial on tv and wanted it so badly. They played with it for a few minutes on Easter morning and then lost interest in it. The water sprayer on top of the building and the part that makes the dog "poop" are really the only play features. The Play Doh tubs are very tiny and don't even come in brown (for the dog) or some other colors that you'd think we're necessary for this set.

HUGE Play-Doh fans here. Seems like no matter how young or old my kids are - they all enjoy play time with Play-Doh. This is a great and cute set for both boys and girls. I purchased this for my three year old son and he got a huge kick out of it. Easy for him to use and even his older brothers and sister had a lot of fun with it. Like all other Play-Doh sets, this one is high quality! Plastic pieces and such are all thick and durable. They are well made and can withstand a lot of "abuse" by even the smallest of hands. My toddler LOVED the little dog that "pooped". He thought it was hysterical. Great price and lots of memories being made while using it.

Very fun play doh set.

My son is addicted to play doh! This toy is so cute. It gives so many ways to make cute shapes with the play doh. I think my sons favorite is making the play doh squish out the dog and out the water gun. The toy is sturdy and well made. My four year old will sit and play with this set for hours.

Hours of fun for your children!

This play dough set is super cool! I bought this set for my 4 year old daughter to play with. The set has many parts and pieces for lots of fun. There are 5 colors of play dough, cutting knives, popsicle sticks, molding trays and more! My daughter is able to use this set herself even. She made a popsicle and an ice cream cone with ease. The dough is a soft texture and is easy to mold into shapes. The tools are made of high quality and durable materials. This set has provided my daughter with hours of fun. I highly recommend this play dough set for any child!

Play-Doh Fire-Fighting fun.
By Ellie

My three-year-old loves Play-Doh so this seemed like a natural product to try. First, my son adores this set. In addition to 4 cans of Play-Doh in classic colors (green, yellow, blue and red), there's the whole firehouse "set;" since firemen are almost as popular as Play-Doh in our house, this is a perfect combination. This is a venture away from Play-Doh classics like the Fun Factory I remember growing up with that was basically a garlic press for Play-Doh. This takes a page from toy sets like Mega Bloks and adds characters (a boy and a dog, plus lots of accessories like an axe, a fire hydrant and a fire house itself. It works well as a stand alone, but if you have the money and space you could certainly buy other items in the "town" to keep your child entertained.

I like that it's easy for my child to use. All the fun of classic Play-Doh with nice touches like moldes to make fire-fighter related shoes. The characters make impressions on the Play-Doh with the designs on the bottom of their feet and even the cans are part of the toy set. Play-Doh is a classic, imagination building toy. If you want something that doesn't require a battery, but does have enough pieces to keep the little ones entertained, this is a good option

Trying to put something like this together with a toddler is never easy
By Judi Tomich

Trying to put something like this together with a toddler is never easy. Once the pieces are snapped into place, they are very difficult to get back apart. So just pay attention to the firehouse door when putting it all together with "help".

She loved it once it was put together. The pooping dog is, of course, one of her favorites. She also loves styling the fireman's hair. Overall a good purchase for some fun with playdoh.

A Bit Frustrating to Assemble, but reliable Playdoh Playtime Fun!
By Bradley J

Our six year old daughter was thrilled when she saw this Playdoh Town Firehouse! The colors and characters were very appealing to her and as always Hasbro creates some wonderful, safe and quality playtime products for kids. She attempted to assemble the Firehouse on her own, and when she ended up quite frustrated after about 20 minutes of diligent effort, a meltdown was diffused by reading to her on the box some 'adult assembly required'. That made her feel better, and dad went to work. He wasn't much more successful as the back wall piece never would snap on correctly and eventually she agreed to just use the play set more like an archway and still had hours of fun play with the playdoh, stamps, molds and puppy character.
