An Ice Cream Sundae Cart Play Doh Style

Our four year daughter is a big fan of Play Doh playsets. The Play Doh Disney Prettiest Princess Playsets are her favorites (especially the Cinderella Sit N Spin Playset and the Rapunzel hairstyle Playsets). However, the Play Doh Sweet Shoppe Ice Cream Sundae Cart is high on her list. it allows her to make a variety of very real looking treats with a large number of toppings. My wife and I like that it is relatively small and easy (compared to other Play Doh Sets) to clean.
Notes
- The green and pink ice cream is loaded with imaginary chocolate chips - they look delicious ... maybe a little too delicious so make sure you make sure than younger kids don't try to eat it!
- Come with three cans of Play Doh - two medium sized cans of pink and green and one can of white Play Doh Plus for frosting.
- The cart can make a large variety of toppings - gummy bears, cookies, strawberries, and other fun toppings.
- Two ice cream cones and one sundae bar are included
- Two small sticks and one press can be used to make popsicles.
- Clean-up isn't too bad with the exception of the frosting extruder/press... although it is still easier than most Play Doh sets.
- Easier to make treats than a majority of the Play Doh Sweet Shoppe playsets and is suitable for children ages 2 and up (providing that don't try to eat it!).
Final verdict - The Play Doh Sweet Shoppe Ice Cream Sundae Cart Playset is a fun and easy way to make ice cream treats. It looks very real and is very easy to create your imaginary treats. In our opinion it is the best of the Play Doh Sweet Shoppe playsets!

My 3 year old daughter is in a huge play doh phase. She received this as a gift and LOVES it. I was surprised since it appears small but there's actually a ton you can do with it. It comes with 3 cans of play doh, 2 have little "chocolate chips" mixed throughout and the third is play doh plus frosting. She seriously played with this set for 2 1/2 hours the day we got it and asked for it again first thing the next morning. One of my favorite features about this is that it all fits back in the box! There are a lot of little candy/goody molds on the cart itself. It's also pretty easy to clean the only thing that gets difficult is the frosting maker when you use the play doh plus in it. The regular play doh comes out great but the play doh plus is much softer and is tricky to get out completely. All in all this is a fantastic little play doh set.

I bought one of these sets for my two kids to play and they both enjoy it so much, I decided to order another set so each of them can have one. It is very cute and easy to "make" ice cream cones and decorate. It comes with three small containers of Play Doh but you probably will want to buy some separately if you don't already have some at home. It provides an hour or two of "quiet" time for kids as they concentrate on making ice cream. Clean up is not hard, especially if you use a leftover toothbrush to help scrub.

I ordered this because of the great reviews. I'm not as crazy about it as everyone else. The cart is pretty much a bust for my granddaughter. She has no interest in it. It just falls over a lot when she tries to play with it. She'd rather just roll out play doh and use cookie cutter type molds.

Although I have never bought Play-Doh toys like this one before, we had bought Play-Doh compounds numerous times when my kids were toddlers.
I assumed they have graduated from Play-Doh already. But my 8 year old daughter told me she loves Play-Doh and wants Play-Doh toys. So I got this for her. She and her 11 year old sister totally enjoyed playing together with this toy! I guess you can never be too old to play with the Play-Doh toys!
This ice cream cart is really cute. You can decorate this cart with Play-Doh to make it even more cute and colorful. There's places inside the cart where you can put Play-Doh containers and ice cream cones. You can put ice cream dish and cone on top of the cart too. The roller and Ice Cream bar mold can be attached on the side of the cart.
It comes with 3 Play-Doh compounds which were not just the regular Play-Doh. 2 of them have confetti in there that makes it look like chocolate chips. 1 white compound has a texture that looks just like whipped cream. It comes with dish, cones, ice cream bar mold, ice cream bar sticks, etc... and you can make variety of desserts such as Ice-Cream Sundae, Ice-Cream Bar, Ice Candy, Ice-Cream in Cone, and Soft Serve. It was enjoyable to watch my kids create many different things. :)
Another good thing about Play-Doh is that it's generally cheaper than many other toys. This one was about $13, and I think it was well worth the price.

We're big on Play-Doh in our house, but this isn't all that great of a set. We got it because of the ice cream theme, but it's really small with only two small cones and this weird shaped ice cream stand that has proven to be pretty pointless to my toddler (except banging it on the table).
The popsicle stick is small, but cute. Not the big size popsicle stick that you see on the popular PlayDoh Youtube video.
Overall it's a good toy for the price and my kids like it, but it wasn't as awesome as some of the other Play Doh sets.
